What I've learned so far and adjustments I've made...
3. Have an area where kids can "level-up". Once the student has passed the gauntlet they get to put their personalized card on the Silver board, and then move it up accordingly.
- Don't make Bronze too long
- Don't loose your teaching style, incorporate it in the way you design the lessons

4. I still do a warm-up and cool-down SMART board activity as a whole group.
5. Provide a check-list at each level so that students have a clear vision of what they need to accomplish. I also include a section for grades on their checklist as well. They turn this in when they are finished with the level. This is what I use to put in the grades.
6. A student suggested that there be practice quizzes, so I incorporated it. Once again this allows students to assess what they know and what they need to go back and study.
